We understand

Our regular menu includes vegetarian and vegan choices. Gluten free pizza crust is also available (additional cost applies).

Our Chef has designed our food station menus to include vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, dairy free and nut free options. Please note, we are not able to significantly change or substitute items and dishes are served as described.

- A speaker system into which you may plug a smartphone (note: playlist must be downloaded & must be compatible with AUX output cord)
- Access to projector + ability to play your own content on flat screen TVs (note: client must provide their own HDMI compatible laptop)

*With a semi-private event ( All Lane Rental, All Lane + Billiards Hall or Billiards Hall booking) the venue remains open to the public. This means music is controlled by the venue manager and microphone use is not permitted

If we do not have the AV equipment you require, rentals can be arranged through Freeman AV Banff. Please note, certain restrictions on AV, sound and microphone use apply to different rooms and types of bookings. Please confirm what is permitted with your Sales Manager.

RATES VARY BASED ON SEASON AND DAY OF THE WEEK:

Billiards Hall (2 or 3 hour booking) :
$500-$1,000/hr *rates vary by date, Sales Manager will confirm your spend.

All Lanes Rental:
2 hour booking: $900 bowling + shoe rental ($5.99/person) + $2000 minimum F&B Spend (plus 20% gratuity and 5% GST)
3 hour booking: $1350 bowling + shoe rental ($5.99/person) + $3000 minimum F&B spend(plus 20% gratuity and 5% GST)

All Lanes + Billiards Hall:
2 hour booking: $900 bowling + shoe rental ($5.99/person) + $3000 minimum F&B Spend (plus 20% gratuity and 5% GST)
3 hour booking: $1350 bowling + shoe rental ($5.99/person) + $4500 minimum F&B spend(plus 20% gratuity and 5% GST)

Fully private buyout:
* $3,000.00 games fee plus a separate $8,000.00 - $12,000.00 minimum food & beverage requirement (plus 20% gratuity and 5% GST)

Access Time:
Groups have access to their reserved areas for the reserved times only.
Private Buy Outs: Earliest access to the venue is 4:00 pm on weekdays or 5:00 pm pn weekends unless specially arranged with your Sales Manager. Last call 1:00 am. event finish time 1:30 am.


Rates FAQ:

What is the difference between  a fully private and a semi-private/party package booking?
A semi-private or party package booking is when a specific area or number of bowling lanes are reserved for your group for a set length of time. Your guests will have private use of the designated space for the duration of your booking. With this type of booking the venue remains open to the public and this means music is controlled by the venue manager and the microphone cannot be used for speeches, awards etc.

A fully private booking is when the whole venue is closed to the public and your group has exclusive use of all areas. A fully private booking is always subject to a fixed games fee (regardless of guest count) and a minimum F&B spend which varies depending on the date and day of the week. With this type of booking the venue is completely private therefore you are able to control the music, bring in outside entertainment, use the microphone and have access to our AV system.

 

What is a minimum spend?
A minimum spend is the amount that you are required to spend on food and beverage before 5% tax and 20% gratuity are applied. Items such as food, wine, and drinks count towards a minimum spend. If the minimum spend requirement is not met, the difference will appear as a room fee on the final bill.
What does the games fee include?
The bowling & billiards fee includes unlimited bowling, shoe rentals for all guests and free pool. Foosball is coin operated.

Group Policies

 

POLICIES:

1. A signed event contract & online credit card authorization form are required to complete any group booking.

2. ‘All Lane Rental’, ‘All Lane Rental + Billiards’ and ‘Billiards All Night Rental’ packages are subject to a 30% non-refundable deposit that will be automatically processed 60 days prior to the event date. All other party packages are not subject to a deposit.

3. Events subject to a deposit:

  • Events may be cancelled without penalty up to 61 days before the event.

  • Events cancelled with less than 61 days notice are subject to full cancellation charges and the full 30% deposit is forfeited.

  • Events may be postponed up to 61 days before the event, in which case the deposit is transferred to the new event date.

  • It is the responsibility of the client to act within the stated time frame, and to provide ample notice of postponement or cancellation.

  • If there is a government mandated shut-down of in-person dining, the deposit would be refunded regardless of timing.

3. Events NOT subject to a deposit:

  • Events may be cancelled without penalty upto 7 days before the event.

  • Events cancelled with less than 7 days notice will be automatically charged 100% of the set menu price for the reserved number of guests.

  • If there is a government mandated shut-down of in-person dining, the above cancellation penalty is waived.

4. Events with a minimum spend:

  • In the event you do not achieve the minimum, a rental fee in the amount required to achieve the minimum spend will be applied to the host bill.

  • Both the host bill and individual guest bills count toward a minimum spend. In the case of separate bills, if the minimum spend is not achieved, the host is responsible for paying a venue fee in the amount required to achieve the minimum spend.

  • Only food and beverage consumed during the event count toward achieving the minimum spend. Venue fees are processed the night of the event and are non-transferrable to other dates or purchases.

  • Minimum spend rates are agreed upon at the time of booking and will not be reduced if Provincial public health measures limit the features or reduce the capacity of any event space. It is the responsibility of the client to stay up to date on all Provincial public health measures.

5. We require a final guest count 7 days prior to the event date. After this time you will be charged the full price of the set menu for any ‘no shows’. Guest count increases are subject to availability.

6. 30-minute grace period for group reservations. After 45-minutes, group is deemed a ‘no show' and you will be charged the price of the menu for the reserved number of guests.

7. Food orders must be finalized no later than 14 days prior to the event date.

8. In the case of separate bills, the credit card provided on the authorization form will be charged the price of the menu for any ‘no shows’ or any charges not paid in full.

9. All events must be paid in full the day of the event, with payment presented on-site. We do not invoice.

10. Bowling and F&B charges are both subject to 20% gratuity & 5% GST. Rental fees are subject to 20% gratuity + 5% gst.

11. Damages: The client is responsible for any damages to or on High Rollers’ property and/or injury to the staff and/or guests caused by the client and/or client’s guests. Please note that verbal & physical abuse will not be tolerated towards any of our staff.
